German Cockroaches breed quickly, they infest at extremely alarming rates and they can pose a variable outside the experience threshold of any thechnician. Understanding the German Cockroach requires an adept understanding of the factors contributing to an infestation. Professional control measures are required in all cases. Retail products may succeed in slowing the issue. However, the German Cockroach is not picky and will simply move from one source point to another without the understanding of a professional Pest Control Technician. A program of Baiting, Dust Residual and Liquid applications rotated systematically provides the most effective solution.

Oriental Cockroaches are the stereotypical bottom dwellers of our nightmares. Oriental Cockroaches love sewers, damp, dark and moist areas where water sources are readily available. In most cases baits prove ineffective alone as the environment Oriental Cockroaches inhabit is less than suitable. Oriental Cockroaches cannot climb so treatments to basebards and baiting wall voids provides an effective control solution. However, in all cases a professional is required to achieve long-term control as dust residual applications should be applied in a targetted manor to flush populations from their harborage point.

American Cockroaches are slightly longer, more slender than the Oriental Cockroach and can be easily distinguished by a brownish red coloring. Though not as common as the Oriental Cockroach local activity has increased and large populations of this pest can infest both homes and business. Routine monitoring, rotating baits to ensure pallatabilty and follow up liquid applications are usuallly sufficient to eliminate this pest. However, consistency is key and again requires a professional approach as the American Cockroach can adapt and move quickly to avoid a threat.
